Birthday email sequence

Two triggered emails for customers with a birthday on file, one evergreen email for those without, plus the birthday details form.

How it runs

  1. Has a birthday in the dashboard? They get Email 1 about 3 to 4 weeks before the date (parties need a 2 week booking lead time), then Email 2 at 9am on the day with their unique Birthday Code.
  2. No birthday in the dashboard? They get Email 3, which sends them to the birthday details form. Once they submit, they move into the sequence above.
  3. Merge tags used: {{{FIRST_NAME}}}, {{{BIRTHDAY_CODE}}}, {{{BIRTHDAY_MONTH}}}, {{{BIRTHDAY_URL}}}. Mailchimp equivalents are *|FNAME|* and merge fields of the same names.
  4. The offer: recharge $35 in one transaction with the code, get $15 in bonus credits ($5 usual plus $10 Birthday Bonus). Code is single use and expires at the end of the birthday month.
  5. Before sending: swap the embedded logo and social icons for the hosted versions, and set the form's submission endpoint.
